Intervenções das equipes da Atenção Primária em Saúde com foco na obesidade: análise crítica a partir de uma Scoping Review
Resumo
A obesidade é considerada um grave problema de saúde pública mundial, com impacto negativo na qualidade de vida dos indivíduos e nos sistemas de saúde. A Atenção Primária à Saúde (APS) configura-se essencial para enfrentar o problema da obesidade, pois oferta o cuidado integral ao indivíduo e está localizada no território onde as pessoas vivem e trabalham, possibilitando a criação de vínculos com a população. O presente scoping review apresenta uma análise crítica das intervenções de alimentação e nutrição relacionadas ao enfrentamento da obesidade na APS. Baseou-se nas recomendações do Prisma Extension for Scoping Reviews (PRISMA-SCR), bem como na estrutura proposta por Arksey e O’Malley. Os resultados mostraram lacunas importantes relacionadas às intervenções, tais como: o pequeno número de intervenções que abordam a população masculina; a falta de práticas sustentáveis que considerem as necessidades individuais e os aspectos simbólicos, sociais e culturais do ato de comer; e a necessidade do desenvolvimento de pesquisas que sejam compatíveis com as necessidades dos pacientes, dos profissionais de saúde e da estrutura da APS.
