Practice of physical activities of the followers of digital influencers
Abstract
Introduction: Physical Education practice is affected by digital influencers: positively promoting professionals and services, or negatively promoting information with no theoretical basis. Objective: This study aims to evaluate the level and ways that the physical activity practice of followers of digital influencers verifying perceptions about the dynamics in this process. Materials and methods: This is a descriptive, quantitative e transversal research in which 71 followers of digital influencers were evaluated, both sexes, from 18 to 41 years old answered the short version of the International Physical Education Questionnaire (IPAQ) with adaptations made willing to direct for this research theme. All data were tabbed and a descriptive analysis was made using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 25.0 for Windows. Results and Discussion: There was a predominance of females, with the average of the BMI of the evaluated (20.8 ± 4.2) being a minimum of 13.3 and a maximum of 32.3. Respondents were classified as Irregularly Active. Conclusion: It was possible to deduce that, although the evaluated are aware of the importance of monitoring a Physical Education professional, they consider the contents provided by digital influencers relevant.
